Our commitment to the environment through renewable energy sources and sustainable business practices.
The company champions sustainability by integrating renewable energy, water conservation, and responsible production at every stage. Over 50% of its electricity is sourced from green energy, powered by windmills and solar installations. These initiatives have collectively achieved a green energy capacity of 15.8 MW. Along with efficient waste management and zero-liquid discharge systems, the company reinforces its commitment to circular practices and environmental stewardship.
As part of its transition toward cleaner energy sources, the company has invested in three windmills located in Gujarat, achieving a total wind energy capacity of 7.2 MW. Each windmill is strategically placed to maximise output while reducing dependence on fossil fuels. This initiative not only supports energy self-sufficiency but also contributes to India's larger mission of accelerating wind-based renewable infrastructure in industrial sectors.
With a clear shift away from conventional power, the company has embraced solar energy as a major driver of its renewable roadmap. With three solar installations, it has achieved a combined installed capacity of 8.6 MW. The units include both operational and upcoming facilities, reflecting the company's proactive approach to scalable solar expansion. These installations power operations sustainably, reduce carbon footprint, and support long-term green energy goals.
Recognising water as a critical resource, the company has implemented an advanced Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system. An in-house effluent treatment plant has been set up using the latest technologies to ensure that all wastewater is treated, recycled, and reused. This approach not only eliminates liquid discharge from the facility but also reflects the company’s responsibility as a sustainable recycler. It aligns with environmental regulations while promoting water positivity.
